Biography

Mr. Asrat Chernet is a Public Health specialist in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and believes that every subject is subordinate to public health for every activity we work in this globe is to make the living environment conducive for human being and public health deals with the health of the people.  Asrat has publications in biomedical center, BMC in research notes, and International Journal of Applied Research on Public Health Management. Asrat graduated with BSc degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from Haramaya University and Master of Public Health from Arba Minch University in 2008 and 2015 G.C respectively. He has work experience of as laboratory technologist in Tarcha general hospital for 5 years, public health emergency management coordinator in Dawuro zone health department for 2 years, worked as a lecturer of biostatistics and epidemiology in Wolaita Sodo university. Currently he is working as head of Dawro zone health department since 2023.
