Biography

Desta Getisa Gamu is 32 years old and holds a BSc in Mathematics and an MA in Educational Leadership and Management. He has worked at Tarcha Polytechnic College as Institution Capacity Building and Quality Assurance Coordinator for the last 5 years. The positions he has worked are Tarcha cluster methodology or how to teach in TVET college core trainer, researchers in labor market and tracer survey, worked on two research projects in the area, coordinates all departments in training performance, facilities upgrading of levels, coaching cooperative training industries site and recognition, coordinating short trainings, and others. He lead small and medium manufacturing industries in the Dawro zone. Currently he is working in South West Ethiopia Skill and Labor Bureau Institutional Capacity Building and Quality Assurance Directorate and serves as a board member of the Dawro Intellectuals and Partners Association (DaIPA).
